The classic Long Jing. A tried and true contender in the tea world. TeaVivre has a wonderful offering for this classic. Bright green uniform color with a fragrant bold punch to the senses. I've tried a few others dragon wells but I always come back to Teavivres Superfine Dragonwell. You will not be disappointed with this tea, give it a try!

This is hands down my favorite tea I've ever tried from TeaVivre. The flavor has a wonderful light nutty quality similar to that of chestnut. This tea is best brewed grandpa style. I find the catechin's are light with this tea so brew it for as long as you like, the bitterness won't bite you. I drink it with the leaves still in the cup and refill the glass as the water gets towards the bottom.

I have a cup of Premium Dragon Well as my morning brew. I make it fairly strong because I like the taste, and little dose of caffeine perks me up. I find that the temperature needs to be less than boiling, so I wait 5 minutes after putting the water in the cup, then add the leaves, and let steep for another 5 minutes.

Nu Er Huan (Daughter’s Ring) Jasmine Green Tea is good. It does not taste as Jasmine as other teas but it is still good. This was a sample. I probably would not order this one because I like a stronger Jasmine tast.

I love the subtle Jasmine taste of Jasmine Silver Needle White Tea (Mo Li Yin Zhen). I have been ordering this tea for several years. The Jasmine is not overpowering but not too light that you can't taste it. I love this tea!

This tea offers a strong lychee aroma, which becomes a very balanced floral/fruity flavor once steeped. The lychee flavor drops off quickly after the first steep, but the aroma seems to stick to the brewing vessel long after the flavor stops coming through. (I usually do a quick baking soda scrub after brewing this, even in glass). While this is not my favorite tea on its own, I think it works perfectly for sweetened milk tea, when you only care about getting one good strong cup of tea.

This is my current favorite lapsang souchong. Opening the bag, you are immediately hit with strong smoky aromas, which carry over well once brewed. I like to get as much use out of tea leaves as possible, and find that I can get 2-3 good cups following the suggested western brewing method.
If you are unfamiliar with this kind of tea or uncertain about strong smoky flavors, this may be somewhat of an acquired taste, though absolutely worth trying at least once for the novelty of the experience. For those familiar with lapsang souchong, I think this is offers exactly the comfortably robust, smoky flavor I am looking for.

It’s my first whole-leaf tea I’ve ever had, and the experience was astonishing. I chose this tea specifically because I used to drink teabag tea with sugar, and since this tea has a honey-like taste, I thought it would be the perfect entry into the world of whole-leaf teas. But I was shocked by how different real tea tastes compared to low-quality tea.
The first thing that hit me right away was the aroma—it was fantastic, like dark chocolate (and sometimes even a bit like coffee). The second thing was the sweet aftertaste and the woody notes (at least that’s what I felt). I also prefer brewing it Gong Fu style rather than Western style. I even tried eating the leaves—they were surprisingly delicious, lol.

I got this sampler assortment as my introduction to green teas. I’ve only been drinking black and white teas available in my country, and had never tried green tea before, but now green might be my new favorite type!
It’s a really great set! My favorites are Long Jing (a revelation in how good tea can taste, and the easiest to drink as it never gets bitter at all), and Chun Ya which is just so perfectly balanced!
I knew green teas could sometimes be bitter, but in this set, the only one that turned out quite bitter (or maybe just harder to brew properly) is the Bi Luo Chun. The others are easy to brew and drink, ranging from pleasantly mild to rich and intense.
Strongly recommended for any beginner.
