This is a mild tea with the smoky aroma of barbecue. Excellent mild taste. One of my very favorite teas.

The tea has a strong tannin taste which I dislike.

Nonpareil Ming Qian Xi Hu (West Lake) Dragon Well Long Jing Green Tea 5gms sample 2026 picking from the 2026 DRAGON WELL TEA FAMILY SAMPLER COLLECTION it has all 7 of Teavivre's DW LJ's. Teavivre instructions say this Tea will give 7 brews! The wet leaf scent is dark chocolate, nutty, green beans. We can honestly say that the first brew is just delicious!!!! So Yum! The empty cup fragrance is deeply floral. The liquor is lemon colored and slightly cloudy. In the second brew there was some minerality plus all the deliciousness of the first brew. Each brew seems to deliver well and keeps a thick mouthfeel. This (WEST LAKE) is the best DW LJ of Teavivre's that we have tasted, it's a great Tea and we loved our Tea session.

Very Jasmine forward. The green tea is more of a quieter note.

Osmanthus Oolong Tea는 향기가 달콤한 만큼 차 맛도 아주 달콤했기 때문에, Osmanthus Liu Bao Dark Tea Mini Cake 또한 역시 달콤한 맛이 느껴질 거라고 예상을 하며 한모금 입 안에 머금었는데 상상과는 다르게 아주 깔끔하고 쌉싸름한 커피와 홍차의 중간 같은 느낌을 받았어요. 저는 사실 Dark Tea를 잘 모릅니다. 경험이 많지 않아요. 그래서 이 차에 대해서도 정확하지 않습니다. 많이 틀릴 수도 있어요. 하지만 저는 이 차를 마셔보니 &#039;black tea 와 coffee 의 중간 같다&#039;는 느낌을 계속 느끼게 되었습니다. 향기는 계속 은은하게 달콤했습니다. As soon as I tore open the packaging, I was greeted by a subtle, delicate scent of Osmanthus. Since the Osmanthus Oolong Tea had a flavor just as sweet as its aroma, I anticipated that this *Osmanthus Liu Bao Dark Tea Mini Cake* would offer a similarly sweet taste. However, when I took a sip—contrary to my expectations—I found it to be remarkably clean and crisp, evoking a sensation somewhere between a slightly bitter coffee and a black tea. To be honest, I am not particularly knowledgeable about Dark Teas; I simply don't have much experience with them. Therefore, my assessment of this particular tea may not be entirely accurate—I could very well be mistaken. Nevertheless, as I drank it, I kept returning to the distinct impression that it felt like a blend of "black tea and coffee." The aroma, however, remained consistently and subtly sweet; the fragrance of the Osmanthus lingered for a long time. <br /> <br /> As for the brewing method, I followed the recommendations: I performed one quick rinse, placed a single piece into a 110ml Gaiwan, and steeped it multiple times. It steeped beautifully, retaining its fragrance throughout the session, and offered a flavor that was both clean and refreshing. It has an invigorating quality that feels perfect for waking up, making it an excellent choice for a morning or afternoon brew. If you enjoy sweet floral scents, I believe this tea is certainly worth trying at least once! As for me, however, I think I am content to have simply sampled it this time around.

Organic Nonpareil Ming Qian Dragon Well Long Jing Green Tea 5gm sample 2026 picking from the 2026 DRAGON WELL TEA FAMILY SAMPLER COLLECTION. We had a dark chocolatey fragrance to the wet leaf, along with the expected nutty, chestnut hints in the wet leaf. Beautiful tea to drink but we are both partial to Dragon Well Long Jing Teas and love that Teavivre has added to their DW LJ collection to give us even more chances to indulge in their delicious DW LJ's. Great teas and we hope that many of you took advantage of Teavivre's generosity and purchased the 2026 DRAGON WELL TEA FAMILY SAMPLER COLLECTION

I mostly drink black tea but do appreciate a good green. These didnt disappoint and dont be mistaken by how pale they brew, as the flavour is there. <br /> En Shi Yu Lu reminded me immediately of Japanese greens I&#039;ve had in the past. Upon reading I realised it was due to the steam processing which I was not expecting but definitely sits its apart from other Chinese greens.<br /> Mu Qing Ding was my favourite. The intial profile was fresh and vegetal however what I loved was the distinct sweetness at the end.<br /> <br /> I enjoyed them all but these two really stood out so have been added to my wishlist

I got this tea a few weeks ago and finally got to try it. The dry leaves were mostly whole leaves with a few broken pieces. I did very quick steeps, no more than 10 seconds and used slightly cooled boiling water. I would say the water temperate was higher than 90C. I love the floral and sweet taste. It has more flavor than other non-organic white peony teas I had before. I will definitely buy again as everyday tea.
