I chose this as one of my free samples and it definitely tastes like a sheng alright! Bit tricky to brew properly, definitely gets astringent after a while, not so much before it really unfurls. A bit of a sour fruit aroma in the wet leaf, turpentine-ish taste. Not for me personally (still developing a taste for shengs/raw puer) but I'm glad I tried it!

I only had to sample this once to know I wanted more. Seriously delicious and I'm surprised how good this is for the price! Brewed western style, it's a delicious fruity sweet hongcha, I do get that sweet potato aroma! I'll stock up on this for a reliable daily drinker.

최근에 숙성 보이차에 관심을 가지게 되었습니다. 그 전에는 계속 우롱차와 홍차만 마시던 사람이었어요. 얼마전에 이곳에서 [Menghai Ripened Pu-erh Cake Tea – Year of Snake] 제품을 맛보고 마음에 쏙 들어서 케이크로 주문을 하면서 다른 관심 있는 것들도 샘플 주문을 해보았는데요...<br />
[2015 Mi Di Ripened Pu-erh Tea Tuocha] 이 차는 저한테는 조금 자극이 약했습니다. 좋게 말하면 편안하고 접근하기 쉬워서 누구든지 거리낌 없이 다들 잘 마실 수 있을 것 같은 맛과 향을 가지고 있었어요. 하지만 저한테는 너무 무난하고 지나치게 편안해서 조금 개성이 없다는 느낌이 들었습니다. 조금 아쉬운 느낌이었어요..<br />
아침에 공복에 마시기에는 자극이 적어서 부담 없이 즐길 수 있을 것 같아요. 발효취에 민감한 분들께도 추천하고 싶은 차 입니다. 처음으로 보이차를 접하는 분들이라면 이것으로 시작하셔도 좋을 것 같아요. 정말 편안하고 마일드하고, 순한 맛입니다.<br />
(참고로 저는 이곳에서 권장하는 레시피대로 110ml 개완에 10g 넣고 10번 남짓 스티프 해서 마셨습니다^^)

This is a pleasant tea but was not really our taste, we prefer the Dragon Well Long Jings. This tea is light and floral in taste and the wet leaf has a pleasant scent to it. Slightly umami and coats the mouth well. We enjoyed the tea session

As soon as I smelt the wet leaf aroma, a distinct Orchid sent was very evident and this is a favorite of mine in a tea.
Now I know that Teavivre has some stellar Dragon Well Long Jing's on offer and in 2025 we drank our way through (4) packs of 113gms Award Winning DW LJ Green Tea and yes in side by side tastings the other DW's are a higher quality BUT if drank alone, this is a beautiful tea and that's the reason for the 5 stars. Beautiful Tea session.

I think I have found a trusted source for my daily teas. I’ve tried multiple types, and none of them have disappointed me. This tea is very fragrant and sweet, to the point that I feel unreal. I could taste the sweetness and the taste got lighter after each steep. I had lychee black tea many years ago and it was lighter, less fragrant to begin with but more natural and the flavor stayed very much until the end of my tea session. I have been looking for a matching lychee black tea for years and this one unfortunately is still not my lychee tea in memory.

This is a wonderful Tea, we have loved all the tea sessions we've had with this tea so far!
The wet leaf smell is divine you just want to keep inhaling the amazing fragrance.
We used 5gms and just used the brewing parameters as suggested by Teavive for a great session.
We would buy this Tea again, it's a delicious tea.

Moonlight Dragon Ball White Tea 113gms is a very enjoyable white tea. I love the Dragon Ball size as it's perfect for brewing a long lasting session for two people. It has a deep golden liquor that endures far longer than you think it will, probably because of the amount of time it takes the Dragon Ball to fully open up. We had a lovely tea session with this tea and we we would happily purchase again.

This is a very enjoyable Jasmine green tea.
The Jasmine flowers do not over power the green tea as long as you do not over brew or use water that is too hot.
I would buy this tea again.

First time i ordered this little teapot it came with a broken lid which made me really sad because i was soo excited about it. But once again people on Teavivre showed me why i come back every time again. Mary, the kindest pearson ever, send another teapot right away to my great surprise. So thank you all! I love my new little teapot. The colours are beautifull ranging from greenish/brown to greenish/purple. The lid doesnt fall of when pouring. Everything fits perfectly.

It was a pleasant surprise, very interesting. Jasmine somehow balances havy notes of earthy Liu Bao, it is not dominant. If you would want to dring dark tea but are not for havy notes this is perfect for that kind of day. Very nice tea

I had this tea from a sample i bought and this is the first time that i tasted those earthy woody notes that every body talks about in dark teas. And you can feel the strong. I love shou Pu- erh so i find Liu Bao excellent, especialy this ginseng aroma. I like that cooling mouthfeel

I just received this lovely and compact set. The pieces are exactly as shown. I have yet to enjoy it but just have it cleaned. The gaiwan and faircup are a bit heavy to hold when filled with water. The gaiwan can fill up to 6 of the cups. I wish I could get a few more cups so I can use the set at home.

The sample I received was very fragrant when opened, this scent carried into each infusion; the tea itself was smooth with that taste of white tea and sweetness and a nice yellow liquor colour. Overall, it was a very good tea, definitely something to drink.

It was a very good ripened pu-erh; the colour started off as a deep red that only got darker with each infusion; the taste was smooth and stayed that way with each infusion, it had a subtle sweetness to it as well as a thickness to the liquor that coated the tongue as you drank it.

I recently tried the Gaba oolong; it had a distinct smooth taste to it that was nice to drink and that was different from other oolong teas. I personally enjoyed it a lot.
