I really enjoyed the scent which was creamy, floral and kind of nutty. The floral notes were less pronounced in the flavor however. I preferred it brewed around 175F.

We have repurchased this Tea many times as we love it.
We tend to buy in in quantity when it's on sale ie 454gms and as it doesn't have an expiry date, it's the more aged the better so you can buy big with confidence!
It's a delicious Tea, warming, comforting, slightly spiced and energizing!

Bought 113gms in 2025.
We used 6.5gms in a glass teapot.
It's a very enduring Tea, with pale gold liquor.
Even though the session was okay we much prefer the Fuding 100gm white Tea Cake with has a delightful spiciness.
We will age this and see how it performs at a later time.

This tea was a super pleasant surprise. I like that toasted rice and honey floral taste. Frist time i was doing like instructed on the site steeping, but it turned out to bitter for me, but not overwhelmingly. Next time i adjusted steeping time and - short steeps like with phoenix dan cong for ex. - and it was perfect. Fell in love with this one

4gms in a small 120ml Glass teapot at 100c.
Deliciously milky. creamy with hints of floral buttery notes.
This is a very relaxing, calming and wonderful tea.

Dry and Wet Leaf fragrance are just lovely.
This is a beautiful Tea to drink BUT it needs to be brewed at 80 to 85c any hotter or an overly long brew produces a bitter Tea.
When brewed at the lower temperature you get a delicious, tea with a delightful lingering aftertaste.
We brewed 6.8gms with a 100ml of water in a 150ml glass Tea Pot, low temperature and initially flash brews, this worked well for us. Very good tea.

I am drawn in immediately by the rich nose on the dry leaves and the sweet floral scent in the wet pot. A light copper color is followed by a unique multifaceted flavor. The plum is subtle but present with a floral sweetness, especially on the sides of the tongue. Gongfu is wonderful with several infusions providing a consistent flavor profile. I love this tea and this cultivar. This one is well done. I brewed at 90c in a Jianshui teapot. Yixing zhuni works well also.

Fuding White Tea Cake 100g
We love this small White Tea Cake.
We initially got it as a free sample and then decided to purchase the 100gm cake.
it brews forever and doesn't disappoint.
It ha a spiciness in the Tea liquor which is unusual and very enjoyable.
The Tea liquor goes a deep orange color and is beautiful to behold.
Lovely tea both visually and in the drinking.
We used a beautiful 150ml red gaiwan that we purchased from Teavivre and 7.6gms of Tea.

Menghai Raw Pu-erh Cake Tea 2025 – Year of Snake
We enjoyed our tea session with Year of the Snake raw puerh.
We brewed it in our Dragon Tea Pot that we bought from Teavivre and the tea was sweet and good.
We will be aging this tea as it will only improve with age.
It's a good reliable daily drinker and doesn't disappoint.
If you want a stronger punchier session then brew it in a porcelain gaiwan.

Like other Menghai Palace tribute from Yunhe, good, sweet, dark and woody. not to mushroomy or moldy. Nice easy everyday after lunch session.
I brew it gongfu style, after the 3rd serve, I steep it a bit longer than suggested for better result imo.

Handmade Jianshui Zitao Pottery Teapot – Chinese Dragon Shi Piao
We purchased this beautiful pot back in August 2023.
The detail and color variations are so detailed and beautiful.
We love it, it's beautiful, the pour is great and is a delight to use.
This morning we brewed Teavivre's 2025 Year of the Snake 357 gm cake.
It produced a mellow golden sweet brew with no bitterness.
We have not been disappointed with any of the brews we have had from this beautiful Tea Pot.

Shi Feng Dragon Well Longjing Green Tea 2026 a 113gm purchase
This is a beautiful Tea, it was a very enjoyable session with this Tea.
We used 5g, in a glass teapot and started with 100ml of water.
Everything about this tea was an OMG moment, dry leave fragrance, wet leaf fragrance and then the taste of this tea was fantastic, it coated the mouth thickly and caused salivating in the mouth.
A truly lovely tea and it lasted more that five amazing brews by reducing the amount of water and increasing brewing time.
We loved this Tea.

I bought sample first and was delighted. Then i ordered the hole cake and it was even better. I like that sweet jujube note - it reminds me of a linden/camomile combo and i find that so soothing. It calms me and makes me smile. I realy love this autumn shou mei. First steep is super sweet but next steeps are more balanced maintaining the same depth. Love it!!

Very nice, taste and smell like fruits and raisins, sweet, but quite bitter ar first. Very calming and relaxing effect.
Personally a bit too bitter for me for daily drinking. But i gave it to someone who really likes it and even it drinks every day.

Very beautiful piece of art! Unfortunately, you don't see well the drawings when preparing the tea because they are in the lower half of the teapot. It has to be elevated to show all its beauty.
