I‘m not a big fan of flavoured teas, but this green tea strikes a great balance between peach and jasmine.
I love blending it with gunpowder green tea or Mao Feng - I find the flavour much more balanced that way.

I was not fan of raw puerh, but I totally loved this one. It has a ver interesting Qi, with a subtle bitterness that quickly turns sweet. This tea is like an old soul that reincarnated and is now young again.

nice light age shou. Not the heavy/thick style of shou, but still very beautiful colored soup and very tasty, the wet forest his here. Ask for saliva and not too sweet. Very decent for the price.

Unusually bitter and not very fragrant for a white tea, but not to the point of being bad. Transforms quite a bit trough the multiple steeps, from pekoe/soy milk/hay towards a slight fruitiness, and has a good sweet aftertaste. Overall an ok bai mu dan, but I'd rather get a more premium one, or if budget is tight stick with shou mei.

The best feature of this oolong is its aroma, which has a bit of sandalwood incense in it. The flavor is bland at first, but gets better as it cools, and has a very light bite to it. For me there is just a dash of milk/cream in the flavor. This is a pretty good tea overall, but it is nothing special.

Clean and strong green tea. I'd say gunpowder green tea is more for mixing with other teas, such as jasmine pearls or other flavoured pearl teas. I find all jasmine pearl teas very strong aromatically, so when I mix them with gunpowder tea or Mao Feng, the result has a much richer flavour.

I won this tea from a giveaway, so thanks to Teavivre for this one.
In 4Oz bag I got 16 whole coins (I intentionally snapped one in the picture) .This tea takes a steep or two to start releasing its flavor and at that point I tried steeping it for shorter than suggested and got a nice and steady cup and I would stretch the session for hours. On the other hand, following the instructions I got two weak cups after which I got a couple of really thick ones which felt somewhere between black coffee and black tea. This is wrapped with a touch of medicinal-like note which reminds me of the infirmary and finishes with a slight woody bitterness. After that the tea would get more mellow and casual, out of the realm of coffee impression.
This is a decent Liu Bao that can be stretched really long for more balanced session or really strong for the mornings that call for coffee-like kick in the sensory sense.

I followed the directions and used 1.5 tsp for an 8 oz cup, and steeped for 4 minutes, but I got only a little flavor out of it. This appears to be made entirely of toasted buckwheat, and it has a pleasant aroma of toasted grains. I don't plan on getting this again.

I've had a sample from 2024 harvest and decided to give it a try. Straight from the first steep I understood why this Dian Hong was award winning. Along the usual delicate notes found with bud only Dian Hong, this one has a couple more things going on that balance just right with the rest of its character. There's a peculiar fruity aspect that hovers somewhere around stone fruits, and it intertwines perfectly with floral honey and dark chocolate notes. All the way until the end it's possible to detect all of these notes with a small variations (it gets more cocoa by the end instead of fruity).
I think I'll grab a sample of 2025 to try before getting trying the upcoming 2026 harvest.

Sweet and inoffensive ripe puer, that I would happily recommend to anyone interested in the style but afraid of off smells and flavors. Fermentation scent seems to have long since dissipated but the tea still has good body and strength.
This is supplemental to the actual tea, but I really appreciate that all the puer I have received from this store has been both appropriately packed for long term storage and appropriately humidified for immediate consumption.
