For the price, it is a great daily drink. The wet leaves have a strong orchid flavor, and the tea offers a stone fruit taste with a good punch and a balanced bittersweet finish. It can provide at least five steeps with good intensity, and up to ten with a pleasant taste.

I might have gotten an off batch. My experience is so different from other reviewers'. The main FLAVORS I got from this were hay (very dominant), roasted, grass, slight vegetal, slight milk, a touch of honey in one brewing. A hint of distant floral air in the back of the throat on a couple brewings. The AROMA was hay, grass. MOUTHFEEL: viscous, milky, especially when cooled a bit.
I never got even a hint of fruit, and when it was floral or honey it was *extremely* subtle.
I tried multiple brewings at various temperatures and lengths, from 185° F to boiling, and 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

제일 처음 샘플은 권장 공부차 방법대로 물 온도 90도에 맞춰서 마셨는데, 약간 향기가 빠르게 휘발되는 느낌을 받았습니다. 세번째 부터는 처음 느꼈던 강렬한 벌꿀의 향기가 잘 느껴지지 않더라구요. 조금 아쉬운 느낌이 들어서 다음번에는 꼭 물 온도를 조금 더 낮춰서 마셔보자. 라고 생각을 하고 이번에는 85도의 물로 차를 마셨는데, 개인적으로는 공부차 방법으로 차를 마실 때 85도의 물을 추천합니다! 90도로 마실 때는 강렬한 벌꿀의 향기를 짧고 빠르게 느끼고 금방 끝나버린 아쉬움이 있었는데, 85도로 마시니까 훨씬 잔잔한 벌꿀의 향기가 길고 오래 지속되는 느낌이 들더라구요~ 게다가 처음에는 느끼지 못했던 꽃향기가 화사하게 펼쳐졌어요! 꽃밭에 서있는 기분이랄까요?! 젲가 꿀벌이 된 기분이랄까요?! 진득하게 달큰하고, 그러면서도 아주 화사한~ 싱그러운 기분까지 동시에 느껴져서, 제가 알던 일반적인 랍상소총과는 크게 다른, 정말 개성 있는 차구나! 라는 걸 알 수 있었어요. 다음에 기회되면 또 한번 접해보고 싶어요~ 아주 맛이 좋은 차였습니다~!
For the very first sample, I brewed the tea using the recommended Gongfu method—specifically, with water heated to 90°C—but I felt that the aroma dissipated rather quickly. By the third infusion, the intense honey fragrance I had initially perceived was no longer very noticeable. Feeling a bit disappointed, I resolved to try brewing it at a slightly lower temperature next time. So, for this session, I used water heated to 85°C—and personally, if you are brewing this tea using the Gongfu method, I highly recommend using water at 85°C! When brewing at 90°C, I experienced an intense burst of honey aroma that was fleeting and short-lived, leaving me with a sense of wanting more; however, brewing at 85°C allowed the honey fragrance to unfold much more gently and linger for a significantly longer time. Furthermore, a lovely floral scent—which I hadn't detected during the initial session—bloomed beautifully! It felt as though I were standing in a flower garden—or perhaps even like I had transformed into a honeybee myself! With its rich, lingering sweetness combined with a bright, fresh floral quality, I realized that this tea is truly unique—quite distinct from the typical Lapsang Souchong teas I’ve encountered in the past. I would certainly love to try it again if the opportunity arises. It was a truly delicious tea!

저는 이 차를 처음 마셨을 때 자스민 향기가 강해서 조금 놀랐어요.. 양념이 강한 식사 음식과 함께 차를 마셨는데, 자스민 향기가 약하지 않고 선명하게 느껴졌거든요. 두 번째 잔 까지는 조금 부담스럽다고 생각 했었지만, 세 번째부터 향기에 빠르게 적응하기 시작했어요. 이 말은 차를 마시는 마지막까지 향을 잃지 않고 오래 오래 정말 지속적으로 은은하게 향이 계속 느껴지더라구요.(long-lasting) 식사를 하면서도 강한 양념 맛에 혀가 지칠 때쯤 이 차를 마시면 입 안이 개운해지고 화사해 집니다~~~ 다시 식사를 맛있게 할 수 있게 되는 거예요ㅋㅋㅋ 덕분에 정말 멋진 시간을 가질 수 있었어요. 이렇게 뚜렷한 자스민 향기는 처음 겪어보는 거라 색다른 경험을 할 수 있어서 기분이 정말 좋았습니다!!
When I first drank this tea, I was a bit surprised by how intense the jasmine aroma was. I was drinking it alongside a heavily seasoned meal, yet the jasmine scent didn't fade in the slightest; instead, it came through with striking clarity. I found it a little overwhelming through the second cup, but by the third, I began to quickly adjust to the fragrance. What I mean is that the scent remained—not just faintly, but truly and consistently—right up until the very last sip. It was incredibly long-lasting. When eating a meal with strong flavors—specifically when my palate started to feel fatigued by the intense seasoning—taking a sip of this tea instantly refreshed and brightened my mouth. It essentially reset my palate, allowing me to go right back to enjoying my meal with renewed gusto! Thanks to this tea, I had a truly wonderful time. It was my first time encountering such a distinct and vivid jasmine aroma, so it felt like a truly unique experience—and that made me feel absolutely delighted!
