I find aged white teas on top of my list of favorites so i was very curious about this one because it is raw pu erh and while i like raw pu erh ( ripe is my pick anytime) that astringency is not my thing when overpowering. But this tea was a pleasant surprise i didn't expect!! In first steep strong but not overpowering fruit taste and as you go it just ads another layer without loosing overall mouthfeel of that sweet, fruity and floral taste. No astringency whatsoever just some light dryness toward the end steeps. It is gentle but not weak in taste. I am so glad i bought hole bag and i am ordering it again definitly!! Beautiful!

Very sweet right from the start, berry jam aroma, later turns to tropical fruits character. There's some floral element wondering about but my mind is focusing mostly on the fruity. With the first steep this tea presents itself as very thick and coats the whole mouth. After few steeps bitternes starts showing but doesn't last long and it's quickly overpowered by huigan. Very approachable with oomph factor, albeit not that much evolving taste wise. That's what I got from a sample, I might get a cake in the future.

Definitely has a nice (but not very intense) fruity aroma of black/red fruits, I'm thinking berries, grape, pomegranate. The taste is good but a little bit weak, just barely sweet and about as much bitter.

Overall, a beautiful Jin Jun Mei; I was extremely pleased the quality of it. The colour of the liquid is a gold yellow even after many steeps; the taste is smooth with subtle sweetness and that certain taste that only jin jun mei has.

Overall, nice cups for gong fu tea; they are quite small but you expect that from gong fu tea cups; they are very thin and feel delicate to the touch; but are actually pretty good for gong fu cups; the only negative is that it is not as translucent as the pictures when there is tea inside the cup.
Updates: Very small, while the regular gong fu tea cup is fine for gong fu tea; the taller one (of the pair) at least for me I find to be almost useless to narrow and too small to be of any practical use; in terms of style it is very simple which is nice.

A lovely mid-to-light flavor green. It has a decent body. Light vegetal and semi-floral smell before brewed, that deepens into an earthier vegetal after brewing. Faint hint of melon on the end of a taste. Decent tea. I do prefer much stronger vegetal and grassy teas, however, and am not a terribly big fan of melon flavors. So it's not a tea for me. It wasn't bad, though. I did enjoy it.
