Very nice, the was smooth and mellow, with a thick feel on the tongue, it has also subtle notes of sweetness and woodsy notes. The colour was a red ruby that seemed to glow. It was good for many infusions I had 6 infusions with this tea.

My first black tea was an Assam tea,which I liked a lot,until I tasted this Diang hong.
This has to be the numer one black tea of all black teas.
It has a strong dark chocolate,cherry taste,a combination of honey,banana bread..Surprisingly no bitterness at all,it has a malty taste, but in a pleasant way.Also it has a note of apricot jam and berries.
My top 3 black teas are:Diang hong/keemun imperial/Lapsang wild-non-smoked.

This is a top tea,a combination of green forest and summer meadow.
My first impresions is this tea taste is very complex and aromatic,you can feel the floral notes,sweetness,grass,and light fruttiness.
I drink it with a little bit of acacia honey.

I've received this green tea as a sample in my first order from this website.All my teas were black teas except 2 oolong.
I've never tasted green tea before.I thought I could never like other tea the way I love to drink black teas.
This green tea made me change completely my taste in teas,now I can say that I love Green Teas,they are my number one.

This tea steeps up pretty dark. I get flavors of honey, dried apricot, and maybe a hint of rye toast. This tea lingers on your tongue, which I like, but the taste profile isn't my favorite. I am glad I tried it, it's not a bad tea, but it is not for me.

I ordered a whole bag since I know I like this kind of tea. It tasted quite different from other GABA oolongs I've had. The colour was almost black and the taste had, on top of the notes I expected, a marine note to it that reminded me of kombu algae. I see that no one else seems to have tasted this so maybe I got a different batch. Anyway, I very much enjoyed it and got many good steeps out of it. I followed the suggested brewing method, bur next time, I will probably do 2 steeps less or use less hot water and shorter steeps. The GABA effect was noticeable and it was interesting witnessing the clash between the caffeine and the GABA, with the caffeine dominating in the beginning and the GABA winning in the long run. Drank in the evening and slept well after. Nice leaf material and very good value!

Got this as a surprise sample and was skeptical at first, thinking that the rose might be overpowering. But it is perfectly balanced. I very much enjoyed the rose flavour, which was not to perfume-y and barely astringent. The white tea underneath can still be tasted well under the rose notes and is very enjoyable. I didn't bother to identify the exact flavour notes and just enjoyed it. The liquor goes from white-ish with an interesting sheen (I don't know whether from the pekoe or from the rose) to a nice yellow with more infusions.

Fantastic tea! My first attempt at hei cha, so I ordered only a sample, but now I regret not getting the whole brick. I am used to shou pu'er, and this seems very similar in the beginning, but it is much more uplifting and gives a pleasant sensation in the forehead and the body after the third steep. From the fourth steep onwards, smoky notes appear on top of the woodsy and mushroom notes.

A beautiful floral smell, not only floral but something hard to describe in there which gives it a depth that will make you want to smell again and again. The taste is good, better than other red teas I've had, but doesn't match the intensity of the smell somehow. Still, it yields quite a few good brews and is very enjoyable. I like drinking it in the morning.

I ordered a sample to see whether I like this kind of tea before ordering a whole bag. I was a bit skeptical first: the smell reminded me of a certain brand of peppermint bubblegum and of a wooden house's basement. The tangerine peel had a white splotch on it which I learned is not mold, but crystallized citrus oils, so actually a sign of quality! Anyway, after the first two steeps I am quite happy with it: a long-lasting, mellow, woody pu'er taste that still lingers in my mouth a few minutes after drinking, balanced by a subtle citrus note that gets stronger with more steeps.

This tea needs a time to wake up. Once you steep it, leave it for few minutes without water to start growing. Then it can offer its full potential.
It is complex tea, offering a blend of tastes. Good, but not my favorite.
