Definitely not the best oolong I've tried. I think the thing that I didn't like is gunpowder tea notes, but if you like these tea types then I assume it will be good for you.

Amazing aroma! And even if the GABA is not confirmed to have a special physio-psychological effect, imagining that it does sure helps, in my silly opinion. That's to say it can be as relaxing and calming as you want it to be. The tremendous flavor and warmth is enough to give you just that. Lovely tea. I have had GABA Oolong from several retailers, and this might be my favorite of them all.

I first tried this tea grandpa style which was very pleasant but this morning I had it on the patio using the recommended gong fu temperature and steep times and was inspired to right a review.
I love this tea. It has just the right amount of sweetness, smooth mouth feel and a calm, energizing qi. I take a sip and the combination of the smooth, subtle but interesting flavor, velvety mouth feel and the very pleasant sensation of warm energy flowing up to my head brought me to the present moment, feeling the breeze, calm.
I enjoyed it beyond the number of recommended steeps. As expected it lost its potency over the course of the session but I was still enjoying it. A perfect tea for a warm, breezy morning with time to sit and be calm.

This is made with chunks of dried tropical fruits along with some watermelon flavoring. The result is flavorful and fruity. A nice summer tea, this would probably be very nice on ice. (Check out my reviews at RateTea. com.)

I would rate this tea 3 out of 5 stars. While the flavour is really good and pleasantly sweet, with a nice fruity aftertaste, I wasn't a big fan of the aroma. The nutty notes in particular are not something I personally enjoy.

I didnt know pu-erh tea very well before buying Teavives samplers. This one really got me hooked. Now I'm drinking mainly pu-erh. And still re-order some of these Menghai teas. Well done !

I put 4 stars to this one even if it s part of my collection now. Opening this tea is a struggle. The first infusion is not very clear. It s not a good sign. On the other side, everybody who tried it around me loved it, even the people who never had sheng before. The cha qi is fun.

Got in love with a sample! Bought cakes, but they seem way more bland than what i experimented. I loved how this tea made me think of a sheng and green oolong at the same time. I haven't found this fun complexity in other teas

This is a really beautiful tea. Perfect for a tea experience, where everything from the leaf shape, color, smell and tea taste can be appreciated.
I had a small sample of it and to me it tasted sweet, vegetal and umami. Almost like sweet corn.
